The Claymore blended Scotch Whisky and traces a history all the way back to 1890, produced by A Ferguson & Co of Glasgow. The word “Claymore” means “great sword” in Gaelic, an ancient Scottish two-handed sword used by the Highlanders. This maturation imparts its special character and created the beautiful mahogany colour of this Scotch. When poured into a glass a complex variety of scents are perceived.
