This exceptionally smooth, delicious, and rich bourbon whisky, made in Kentucky was aged in a fresh white American Oak barrel for 55 seconds (No. 4 char, also known as alligator char), to instill character and richness. The Wild Turkey 101 American Whisky is distilled with very little water in order to seal its flavour. This produces a full flavoured taste, akin to one straight from the barrel. It has a deep gold colour, it is aged for 6 years and bottled at 101 proof after coming out of the barrel at 109 proof and being diluted a little. Its flavour consists of hazelnut, nutmeg, cinnamon, mint, clove, and toffee. On the nose, you will find the mellifluousness of toffee, caraway seed, and rye.
