The result of 8 years of harvesting, the Carte Blanche demi-sec cuvée of the House of ROEDERER is a blend of approximately 40% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Meunier, with a proportion of 5% of wines vinified in oak barrels. It benefits from 3 years of aging in the cellar.
A nice golden color with brilliant effects is discovered at the opening of the bottle, to which we have to add a nice effervescence for this Champagne of the Roederer House.
Carte Blanche demi sec expresses sweet and ripe fruits of tarte tatin, intense floral notes with hints of honey, frangipane and hazelnut. The 45g/l dosage gives a rich, creamy and voluminous texture, but retains its vitality and power.
The freshness of the wine supports the volume to give a well-balanced and persistent whole. The finish is impressively precise, minerality and acidity are woven together with elegance and freshness.
